nope it cause problem with fsx...
I use the
SteveFX - DX10 Scenery Fixer and I don't have any problems with FSX!
Hi Mark,
as I tried the DX10 at FSX, the first, I have noticed is, that my AI-aircrafts lost their strobe- and wing- lights. Some AI-aircrafts also don't have textures and look grey at DX10.
I found these missing textures especially at the CDAI L1011-500, FSP DC-10 and MD11.
I also noticed, that that the CS L1011 lost the strobe- and wing- lights at DX10- mode too.
Before I decide to buy the DX10- fixer, I would like to know, if this tool is able to fix that.
So may I ask, did You have the same problems before Steve's fixer and could You solve them with the the DX10- fixer ?
Thanks
Dietmar
Hi Dietmar.
Yes, the tool is able to fix that.
Pic1, below, shows the
SteveFX - DX10 Scenery Fixer interface, I have placed a red box around the "fix" for compatible lights:
Pic1Yes. I did have those problems until I downloaded some files from Avsim that corrected the problem.
I believe the files are the same ones that are included in the
SteveFX - DX10 Scenery Fixer, but don't quote me on that.
Pic2 is an image of the CS L-1011 at night, with Preview DX10 is ON (switched on and tweaked using the
SteveFX - DX10 Scenery Fixer):

SteveFX - DX10 Scenery Fixer, is that I can turn Preview DX10 on and off with ease. No need to manually add, change, or remove any files/fixes if I want to use DX9.
