Thanks.

I second the petition for CS to start developing for X-Plane.
It is the future of flight simulation and CS could get a big jump on the market.
I wish I could purchase the full model of the L1011 (I purchased the early release visual model) but I have shelved FSX in favor of the far superior X-Plane and I won't be purchasing anything else for FSX anymore.

Come on Captain Sim! Let's do this!

I third this petition! I've been solely using XP for the last couple of months, but when I saw the L1011 I just had to have it. I'm still in the process of installing FSX, it's been about a week and it's giving me hell! So no, I don't yet own the L1011 yet because it's such an ordeal to get things going.
X-Plane on the other hand is a dream. I would do/pay anything to get the L1011 is X-Plane 10. That would be a dream come true!

Good to see that others want the same too. X-Plane is the future for sure. I have not used FSX for months.

I have never tried x-plane but technically it's a far better implementation than P3D.

Why LM continued with 32bit in v2 I will never know. Besides there's too many outsiders trying to get themselves involved, so I won't go near it.

X-plane OTOH needs looking at. I don't know how hard or if it's even possible to port their acft.

I think CS should wait and see how things play out, they don't want to get their fingers burnt.

At this point though I'd prefer for them to partner with x-plane than P3D.
Is Bruce Artwick involved with x-plane?

I did get Prepar3D v2 and was not impressed so was a waste of money. As I now use nothing but X-Plane 10 I will be uninstalling FSX and P3D.

I second anything said in here. I had purchased many CS planes in the past, but ever since I installed X-Plane 10, FSX was no go anymore. FSX is neverending fight with hardware and I can't be bothered anymore.
P3D is same as FSX, major tweak for GFX and additon of training aids, but nothing to solve major hurdles with hardware. X-Plane 10 is 64-bit/32-bit, and makes full use of modern hardware, and I never get low fps when flying high density areas.

I think the reason why some people stay with FSX for so long is only because of companies like CS/another company/another company/AS staying behind, although some have now started porting their products.

CS go for X-Plane, it's never been easier to do so.
