You are right, Mark, that Cessna was THE plane to actually really ask for that feature.
The default FSX battery life is modelled way to short, so the only workaround for e. g. entering the plan and setting up the G1000 in general is to have a FSUIPC battery or to start the engines, which, in my eyes, would be a total loss of rw feeling.

Maybe, because we have that option enabled, the CS 727 also profits from it. I never tried running FSX without the FSUIPC battery since then.

Mine is set to 1, which is the default setting. At the moment, my Cessna Mustang isn't installed, so because I can't select it, I don't have to change it yet.

Then you have proven her to work in that aspect.

Regarding the Mustang, she's way to easy to operate after some flights in the old school birds, isn't she?
Decades of technical improvements render it somehow boring from time to time, that's why I always return to the steam gauge birds. Also, that's why I'm looking forward to 2.5 on the 727 of course.  Cheesy

Lou was the one who showed me that it did work correctly. You can read about it here: http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1267897624/15#15.

Looks normal to me, maybe I'm on the right side too.
But since I'm using the FSUIPC tweak, I wouldn't even know when not.  Cheesy

Hi Sanal.

I would suggest that you download the csp721_2400.exe installer again, maybe it is corrupt for some strange reason. Sad

I deleted all727-100 files and redownload from csp721_2400.exe install with  UTC OFF and second time with UTC ON. Still no sound.

I wonder if CS made some changes or fix in 721_2400, there fore sound lost again. Undecided

THat is strange, same 721-2400 was working two weeks ago, now with new installation sound no longer there. Shocked

We have made no changes. This confirms the sound issue is system specific.

Problem solved.

msvrc71.dll  file was missing in 727-100 2.4 installation. I downloaded and put into system32 and FSX root folder as described in  KB (Knowledge Base):21, Then I started FSX and two times  selected 727-100
SOUNDS was back  Cheesy

It's an issue with the sound that has yet to be fixed. At the beginning of every FSX session with the 727 after it loads, reset it. You can do this by pressing CRTL+;
