mikkel, my engines start fine.  Have you tried following the checklists?  I can't remember if you're one I've written to about this.  If you have anything at all using air, or if your APU RUN light isn't on (even if you get power and air) you won't get the start valves to open.

NOTE: I'm on hiatus, concentrating on flight training.  Most of what I'm flying right now is a C172N similar to what I'm training in.  I'll try to check in and answer questions when I can, but please don't be impatient, I have other priorities right now! Bob, there is a bug that if you let the airplane sit on the ground too long the engines won't start no matter what you do. There is an old thread about this, but who knows if CS will fix it in the patch.

Navdata file location?

Forgive the obvious quesiton, but what is the file location for the planepath 0902 procedures install?  During the installation it asks for a file location.  I just upgraded to FSX and to the CS 757 so I'm not at all yet familiar with how it's laid out.  Thanks.

Today the 0903 Navdata is out by Navigraph, but sorry to see, still no CaptSim version available.
Hope this will happen soon, as the CS757 experience is still very limited without required navdata updates.

Captain Sim, could someone please enlighten us about the process of the navdata? We heard some time ago that it should be released in January...

Navdata is ready for testing. Public release ETA: as soon as possible, probably same time with 757 4.3 release.
Thank you for your patience.

According to navigraph, CS tested the data and signed off on it, but still haven't given them the go ahead to release it. That's all navigraph is waiting for, the ok from CS. But since CS already said it looked good, I'm not sure what the holdup is.

You misunderstand. CS already has completed testing it according to Navigraph. They just need to allow them to release it.

No, i have not misunderstood...

"...Hi,
CaptainSim is still testing but as I received from the CS team, it looks good - sorry can“t say more! As soon, we have the official ok from CaptainSim, we will release it. At the moment we have no additional work with this addon ...
Cheers,
Rich..." (Navigraph administrator)

they don“t say it's already tested, they say they're still testing... and it looks good is not the same as it is good.

So like it or not, I'm afraid we will need to wait they finish and make sure all is working  according the flight plan Cheesy

We are working on the 757 4.3 which will work with Navdata cycles.
To avoid any confusion with older CS DB versions Navdata will launch the CS757 cycles right after the 4.3 is out.

Ok. That makes sense. Lets hope the update comes soon. My 757 looks sad in the hangar.

I highly think that a partnership with navigrpah would be smart. If we were able to get AIRACs from their site, the captain woudl be complete. I wouldn't even care about any FMC crashes.

What's the point of having updated data if the FMC crashes every flight?
