importing flight plans fsbuild or fsnavigator in f

I am able to import fs flight plans from *.pln format into the fms but only if created with the actual flight planner from fs9

when i try to import a .pln file created by a third party planner such as fsbuild or fsnavigator i get very strange waypoints . The waypoints are assigned weird id.s and the lat/long is wrong,

Can someone tell me how  and which planner works for creating and editing flight plans for the capt sim 757 for fs9

thanks in advance

peter

Hi Chaps. I'm struggling with the FMC - particularly SIDS. I have downloaded Terry Yinglings latest TP file - 0810 - for some reason, the FMC dep/arr page has difficulty recognising both rwy and sid. For example, departing manchester EGCC, I can select rwy23R or 05L, but if I do the SID list is empty. Alternatively, I can select the SID I want to use, but not the rwy I want to start from. Any ideas?

This is a superb aircraft... it is let down by the FMC and the quality of the data available for it. All the other "issues" I can live with for the time being, but if I can't program the FMC to fly real-world-esque departures and arrivals, its not much use in IFR conditions. Can we make sorting the FMC out our first priority please?

As for NAVIGRAPH, they are still reviewing our application.
We you have any questions please ask at: http://forum.navigraph.com/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=25

The more requests for CS navdata they get the better for CS757 users.

The only way I get the FMC to function correctly is to enter in all waypoints, VORs, NDBs,etc manually. I first plan a flight via FS Navigator, export to FS9,etc. I print out the flight plan from FS Nav so that I can have all of the waypoints available. Sometimes the FMC doesn't recognize certain waypoints, especially on departure, but I improvise on the departures by seeing what waypoints are showing on the cockpit nav screen. I will enter those from the departure runway into the FMC...in order to get a smoother transition on departure of course.

I will save any of the entered flight plans in the FMC for future use. Since I don't use FS Build, I have to manually entere everything. It is true that the FS9 .pln plans don't agree with CS's FMC. All lat/long's may be correct but the distances are always 8nm between each one in the FMC.

The FMC will not recognize ANY fixes from FS NAV like Fix 01, Fix02,etc, so I ignore those and find any compulsary reporting points like BADGER, HANRY, DUGGS, TOU15,etc. CS's FMC seems to recognize those formats. I've managed several successful flights Smiley

Navdata team has just informed us that the data first release candidate is nearly ready for testing. Depending on the tests results we expect public release of the navdata starting with 0901 or 0902. Thank you for your patience.

Wait for the introduction of the Navigraph's database. CS work with Navigraph for that and they will be available in few weeks.

All the best

Not going to help with Finland, but at least it's an update until Navigraph comes through. Click on the green download button. And it's free!

I look at the Navigraph website and it seems that 0901 procedure is not suitable for the CS 757, is it?

I thought I read somewhere on here there would be a Captiansim Package on Navigraph for 0901, but alas, it does not appear to be there. Cry
