Any chance of a Trent 800? I know the original FSX family has it included but somehow isn't with the P3D release. Either way PW would diversify the variety (Dreams of United Tongue).

What difference does it make? None of performance differences between engines are going to be apparent because it's a 747 in everything but visual appearance. I mean, why even bother with anything else if it's not gonna fly like anything other than a 747 with mismatched performance and "outer shell"?

Because I and many others want accurate engine variants. American, Singapore, PreMerge United, ANA, Air New Zealand don't use GE90-90Bs. Wait a few years for another dev then.

As it has been made clear that there will be no changes to the code of 747 , so I guess just give is the 300 ER and be done with it

How about you actually work on the avionics and flight model instead of a cut and paste 747 system instead of working on new engine variants that won't change how it flies at all?

Maybe I want to fly accurately modeled engines to fly say American or Singapore and not have to split my brain over flight planning. I doubt I'm the only one.

Thank you! It was in your FSX base 200ER product so it almost escapes me it isn't included. Appreciate the attention!  Grin

You can't "accurately model" something when even the default GE engine isn't accurately modeled. You don't even have the correct sounds with it, which is why I don't understand what a different variant with a different engine matters since you won't have sounds OR performance metrics associated with them... The only thing you will have is something that maybe looks slightly different, but it will have no effect whatsoever on how it sounds or flies, so what's the point of this other than additional revenue for CS?

Maybe some like just SEEING different engine variants. It's like an A320 addon with only CFMs and flying United and Jetstar. None of them had CFMs and even if it's visual it makes things much more believable. I could care less for custom dynamics, leave that to other developers who want to take that time and effort. The models for other engines were made for the FSX 777 Captain product so if we're recycling it for MSFS why not?

I dont want anything from Captainsim so no I dont want more vairants - This is perhaps the laziest, weakest and down-right most embarrassing aircraft release I have witnessed and perhaps one of the worst purchases you could make for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Thanks to you, and the other dozen who've decided to make accounts for no other purpose than to fling crap all over the place. The world is a better place for it.
