Error 29 frustration

So yesterday I went to update my program through the ACE. When I opened it, it said my program was invalid, (which I paid for) and would not work for me. So I uninstalled the program in hopes that it would reinstall properly. How wrong I was. I tried reinstalling the program, but it says my activation key is not valid and it will not allow me to reinstall it. So I emailed support and all I got from Captain Sim is a link to the Error 29 page, which I've read many times with a fine tooth comb. I need a new Activation key, but it seems like Captain Sim is not going to give me one. Please fix this activation key thing you've implemented, its complete garbage.
