@pete197 - I've had a scooter for about 3 or 4 years. It has a top speed of 7 kph (4.4 mph), but the wheelchair is faster than that. It does about 10 kph (6.2 mph). The biggest problem with deaths here in Oz, is that older people (older than me
) driving mobility scooters get hit and killed by cars. It doesn't happen very often though. I have not heared of people being hit and killed by scooter/wheelchair drivers. Remember that the entire population of Australia is about 23 million.
@Lou. If only!!! Now. Where can I get me some goggles and a WWI pilots headwear? AND a scarf.
@CoolP. If only it could. Then I would be so very happy.
I was thinking of getting one of these:
to replace my old scooter!
