Sadly. My situation has come to this point. That's life.
So today, the DVA delivered an electric wheelchair for me. I can no longer walk very much or very far.
I've known this was coming for the last six years, and now the time has come. It is not unusual for me to be just standuing around and suddenly my (left) leg just gives out and down I go, unless I can grab something to prevent the fall. I am still able walk from one room to another in the home, but if I go outdoors, I can't walk further than about 100 metres (on a good day) without either stopping to sit down and rest, or falling over. I prefer to sit and rest. ;)
Don't worry. I'm fine about it, I just thought I would let all my friends in the forum know about it. It doesn't change what I do in here, I'll still be the same ol' me. ;)
So here it is. A "brand spanker" (brand new)!
Because it has a "joystick controller" on the right side, I have decided to name it Airbus (FO). :D ;D
