Firstly. Make sure you install Weapon for FSX as an administrator. To do this, right click on the installer and select "Run as administrator" from the list that pops up.
The next thing you need to do is this. Right click on the "Loader" ( found in
Start > All Programs > Captain Sim > Weapon for FSX > Loader) and select properties. Select the
Compatibility tab and in the
Privilege Level section, place a tick in the box beside "Run this program as an administrator". This will mean that the "Loader" will always be run with administrative authority and be allowed to make the changes it needs to to the aircraft you add it to.
Doing all that
should fix the problems. But...you might still have problems. If you do, you might need to run FSX as an administrator as well. This is likely to be the case if FSX is installed in
C:\Program Files or
C:\Program Files (x86). To do this, go to the FSX root folder and look for the fsx.exe file (it will look something like this:
), right click on it and select properties, select the
Compatibility tab and in the
Privilege Level section, place a tick in the box beside "Run this program as an administrator".
