I have got as far as selecting aircraft and marking them as armed. So far I have selected two aircraft types. On each I have selected the 2D panel and various other cockpet views but unable to see the Weapon Master Switch etc.  My OS is Windows 7. 64Bit On a high spec system. Your help would be appreciated.

The Weapon Panel has the MASTER SWITCH which is labled ARM. So If the switch is UP the weapons are armed and ready to fire.

If you haven't got them already, get the Manual & SDK here: http://www.captainsim.com/products/w001/manuals.html Included in the manual is a list of commands to help you.

Aircraft in FSX that I have armed are now identified in their title as armed. However, I cannot progress beyond this point. Whatever cockpit view I select  there is no sign of the 'WEAPON CONTROL PANEL',this is my problem. I do have a copy of the USER MANUAL. My programmes are being run as Administrator. Thanks for your response.

To get the user manual, click on this link: http://www.captainsim.com/products/w001/csweapon_manual.zip
To get the SDK, click on this link: http://www.captainsim.com/products/w001/csweapon_SDK.zip

If you have Acceleration, start FSX and select Captain Sim in the Publishers list and then select the Boeing F/A-18 Armed Defender, from the aircraft that are listed, then press Fly Now.

‘Weapon for FSX’ - User’s Manual (CSWeapon_manual.pdf) page 10:

PANELS ORDER
2D HUD installs in the following panels order:

Acceleration F/A-18:
Weapon control panel – panel 1 (Shift+1)
HUD indication – panel 2 (Shift+2)
HUD glass – panel 3 (Shift+3)

Any other FSX aircraft/rotorcraft*:
Weapon control panel – panel 2 (Shift+2)
HUD indication – panel 3 (Shift+3)
HUD glass – panel 4 (Shift+4)

* - Third-party aircraft may use other order of panels.

Thanks Markoz, I have'nt tested all aspects yet but all seems to be functioning OK. There is one exception, I have a number of third party aircraft and in particular from' Real Air Simulations' all but one exception have worked OK, and this exception is the Spitfire where the specified keys for the weapons control panel is not compatable with the other Real Air aircraft. Can you offer any comments on this?

I you mean the WoP3 Spitfire, you'll probably have to do it manually. Some of the 2D panels don't open, but do have a function with A2A aircraft, so I found that I needed to fix up the panel.cfg to make it work (that was the Piper J3 Cub).
I have never added it to the WoP3 Spitfire with Accusim. I consider it too complex.
However. I have added it to my WoP2 Spitfire and it works fine in that. In fact it is one of my favorites with Weapon for FSX.

Mark I found your comments very interestig on the Spitfire included with Wings Of Power. The spitfire I refered to was the product of 'REAL AIR SIMULATIONS' and one of their outstanding products. As I have said their other aircraft do work with the exception of the Spit. There maybe a simple answer somewhere.
