Existing sound

Can you confirm that a sound set is included in the package? and secondly are there going to be any RAF liveries? At the moment I run MSFS on Xbox so I am restricted to what's available in the package or on Marketplace.

Initially we wanted to produce or licence a custom sound set, but by the time we done with the custom flight model we realised that the stock turboprop soundset sounds heavy enough thanks to the custom flight model lower RPM etc.

We are looking for someone who can produce an authentic sound pack, but for now we have a stock turboprop soundset included.

Can you confirm that C-130 not include a APU sound? I can't hear the sound of APU when started APU.

Hi,

I's Matthias

I am the webmaster and news poster/reviewer for this website.
Also i am the developer of the freeware HPG H135 and HPG H145 freeware soundpacks on flightsim.to. Also i helped HPG with the soundpack of their payware AirbusH145 helicopter.

I would love to make a professional sound pack for your new C-130 Captain for MSFS. I have a lot of private recordings of C-130's because i fly the C-130H-30 Hercules in real live with the KLU (Royal Dutch Airforce). I hgave lots of internal, and external files and i already was working for a C130 sound pack so i was very happy with your new release. Great job, the internal and external models look amazing! The VC (Cockpit) is top notch! When i started we also had (semi) analogue gauges in the cockpit. now its all replaced be big touch screens as we use glass cockpits now, sometimes i still miss the old days Wink

If you like my help with a professional sound pack, please contact me

Hope to hear from you soon,

Greetings

Matthias

Hi everybody,

Just 20 min ago i send a bunch of my own recorded internal and external sound files of the C130 to CS. When they approve them i will add more files to them and again send them back to CS, if those are also approved by CS i will add them to the sound pack so CS can add my sound pack in a free update of their AMAZING C130 Smiley Greetings Matthias from FSVisions.nl

Yeah so far he's the only Youtuber that's doing something besides complaining. He actually showed what was available - made it a purchase for me. Looking forward to the improvements there's quite a few things not right currently.

Thankyou mnpostema.

In the meantime, has anyone found a working sound set alternative to use?

Further to my post above (which I am unable to edit), there is a freeware soundset for the c-130E on flightsim.to where you can replace the files in the sound folder and rebuild the layout.json file.  IMHO, the results are an improvement over the stock sounds while we wait for an official release..

what would be ideal in the mean time would be for Captainsim ..or third party to alter the sound.xml file to make the soundpack into a 4 engine config,..at present it is unchanged kingair 2 eng hence why engines 3 & 4 sound weak. Having grown up on RNZAF Whenuapai Airbase and my Father flew C-130's I was around them all the time ,..no the kingair sound isnt close to the T54 Allison but would go a loooong way to making it sound full,..start ups are disappointing with very little in the way of start up sounds on #3 and #4. Surely it wouldnt take much to reconfig the xml ?
