Thanks for clarifying. And just to confirm my other question.

Does the 767 and the 757 benefit off each other from a development stand point? e.g. will the 757 feature updates with features and improvements you have made/make to the 767?

When you say on the 767 page "coming soon". does that mean it will not be included in launch?

e.g. "  • Flights (Cold-n-dark, Ready for takeoff, Auto-land) (coming soon)"

That page is just a first draft, pls standby for a final version upon release.

Yes, it has the custom panel states per the page. He might be refering to the tutorial flights.

  • Cockpit states, PAX and payload configuration and management via FMC

I'm going to go ahead and assume that the 767 will have alot of the same features as the 757, so will there be some sort of discount for current 757 owners. In the same way that AS gave a discount on the A330 to those who had the A320.

I wouldn't assume. Don't get your hopes up.

I highly doubt there will be any sort of discount for existing 757 users. While these aircraft have a few things in common, the CS team probably didn't benefit a whole lot of it.

The date will pleasantly surprise all.
But the price probably won't...

Are we talking days, weeks, months? Because if you want me to be pleasantly surprised then I really hope that we are talking days/hours until release  Huh

Who knows? But I’m slowly losing interest when it drags on like this. Hopefully it will be soon especially since a lot of us are stuck at home. If I get the itch bad enough I can always go back to FSX as there are two versions one of which is by CS.

No offense, but how do you know that?

The 767 has ALWAYS been my favorite aircraft but when I switched to P3D v4+ it all went away. When developers start to release teaser photos/news I think they should not wait more than two weeks to release (IMHO). I'm guessing it's to generate buz and to notify as many as possible as to increase the number of sales, however, once it's out (and its a good product) others will know.

One tiny request for the 67 & eventually  the 57. Please allow  for long/lat entry on the fix page of the FMC, its required for ETP.  Itll be even more important in  the 767, as most routes are ETOPS

Out of curiosity, which formats does the FMC take in the FIX page for lat/long. I know the 3 formats to enter waypoints on the LEGS and RTE pages, are they the same? 5420N, N54.000W020.000, N54W020, etc.

That price  Grin They were not kidding when they said we will not be pleasantly surprised with the price.
Also no new information regarding future engine expansions, if it will be free or not. Cannot personally decide if i want to buy without that info..
