How to start at a C&D state?

Hi,
just trying to start at a C&D (last version + P3D v4.5) state, but to no avail. I followed the instructions step by step plus a tutorial video. Am I missing something? After the EP function (or from the eng panel), no lights on he pumps etc are working).
  Thanks for any help,

I have the same problem.  I cannot get some lights to work from the C&D state.  Also when switching to APU power (turn off EP) the plane goes dark.  Cannot start the engines.  Anyone know what is going on?

OK I think I figured this out.  If you are using the C&D scenario, once you start the ground power (battery on) you need to push the DC BUS ISOLATION switch on the electrical panel and then the power is applied to the aircraft.
