Well I noticed there were new topics for the C130, 757 and 767. Will there be a 727 3.0?  Cool

I have been hoping for this too. Sure would be nice to have it up to standards with the 737.

Good morning everybody,

It would be a good idea. I hope, to have a shared cockpit mode. This would be great because it's a little difficult to fly alone with this kind of bird...

Have a good day

I would really like to see an updated version that is P3D installable.  In addition I would like to see an INS version that is built in.

Give it time. It might happen. Now that the L-1011 is out for P3D, more could follow.

I'm guessing it will depend on how successful the L-1011 for P3Dv2 is, as to whether Captain Sim will do any more.

Well after I saw the L1011 was available in P3D format I bought last night.  Then went to my V_Airline and spread the word.  I was really happy with it, had a couple of CTD's but I think it was more my settings than the sim (growing pains!), but CS will definately be getting my business. Cheesy

I have not had a CTD in P3Dv2.2 with the L-1011, YET (touch wood), after almost 19 hours of flight in it. Wink

Will there ever be an update to correct some of the problems associated with the 727? How many years has it been now?

No updates are planned, from what I was told by CS crew.

I'd be happy if they just fixed the bugs. Loss of avionics, sound, cabin psi, etc.

An updated 727 would be nice. If it never happens we can take matters into our own hands:-

Sound fix (with the 707 gauge).
http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1264321545/84#84

Sound and avionics fix with the config tweaks, so no 707 gauge needed.
http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1264321545/52#52
and
http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1315183931/1#1

DME gauge switching, like on the 707.
It's neat when you want to have DME1 und 2 together.
http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1287210019/56#56

Pressurization fix (beta) by Dutch.
If you are spoiled by the wonky default system in the 727.
http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1316963585/4#4

-One Takeoff and Landing Gauge with Sounds by fsxpaul
This one is for the -100.

I have all the above installed and have a fully functional 727. Of course I also have a First officer and a Flight Engineer, with Multi Crew Experience!

And if you fancy practising the fire drills.....

With the above mods and MCE added, the CS 727 is unsurpassed as a fine simulation of this historic aircraft. Even the aggressive trim can be manipulated with a small .cfg alteration to the sensitivity. Wink

Regards
David.
