Modified 777 airfiles ( improved spoilers drag )

This package contains replacement airfiles for the following aircraft :

- 777-200 GE
- 777-200 PW
- 777-200 LR
- 777-300 PW
- 777-300 GE

The spoilers drag has been improved to match reality more.
Now the aircrafts will slow down better when using the spoilers.
The original idea was by Ben ( Saratoga )

I hate to ask, but are these based off real world numbers and experience?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but only the 772_LR has been modified? The others are still set to 20!

I used 55 back at V0.2 just based on trial and error. No real working knowledge of the dynamics known to me.

I'm the one who modified the 200LR airfile and I tested it quite a bit against the Qatar Airways data. You can see my results under the Flight Dynamics section. I used a value of 60 for drag and it is perfect. I also looked at the Continental Flight Manual and they have very slightly higher fps descent than Qatar, but it is also based on the plain -200 and not the ER and LR models. I do not know what data Libretto put in the other airfiles as I did not look at them.

Just checked and forgot to include Ben's airfile.
My apologies.
This evening I will load up the correct package.

I used Ben's value as a test for the other 777 versions.
After having done several landings with the 777-200 GE and the 777-300 PW  with their original airfiles I came to the conclusion that they too had little spoilers drag.

Then I tried Ben's value and it was way better.
Therefore I used that value for all liveries.
CS also used the same value for all liveries.

I am at work now. Line I wrote , this evening I will upload the correct package.

Just try it out.

Edit : the correct package has been uploaded
