Stewards voices on overhead panel. (Read 6331 times)

	Question I have this problem where stewards voices on overhead panel don't work after I move the plane from the gate. I don't understand is this is this the way it is supposed to be? In flight those voices don't work. In flight, they light up but no sound. As I previously stated they dis appear after flight in air or ground movement.

	They should work fine and at any time when you press the buttons regardless of where the 757 is. Try editing the sound.ini file. The file can be found in the FSX\Captain_Sim\757 folder. Change this: [Common] Refresh.Time=10 Sound.Directory=Captain_Sim\757\sound SoundOffWhenSimIsSlew=1 SoundOffWhenSimIsPaused=1 SoundOffWhenSimDialogIsOpen=1 SoundOffWhenSimSoundIsOff=1 to this: [Common] Refresh.Time=10 Sound.Directory=Captain_Sim\757\sound SoundOffWhenSimIsSlew=0 SoundOffWhenSimIsPaused=0 SoundOffWhenSimDialogIsOpen=0 SoundOffWhenSimSoundIsOff=0 See if that helps with your sound. Backup the sound.ini file BEFORE making any changes! In v4.6, you should not need to do this, but you do need to do it if you are using v4.4.

	I purchased plane after latest update. How ever with your info I discovered it is version 4.4. So the latest update does not show available on my account because update was done before purchase. I submitted a ticket to see if I can get the update.

	It shouldn't matter when you've purchased her. If you can log in to the Captain Sim site (http://www.captainsim.com/cgi-bin/login.pl), you can always click the 'get new links' thingy and receive a fresh 4.6 installer. If that doesn't work, the ticket makes sense. Note. This is for download customers having purchased the plane at the Captain Sim shop. Third party shops are handled differently. But if you have an Order Number (don't post it!) from CS, you should be ok.

As CoolP says, this is for customers who bought the download version of the 757 Captain, not the boxed version. To download the latest version (v4.6): Check-in to Your Profile > Product (757-200 Base Pack (FSX)) > Extended Download Service > Get New Links

	If you mouse over the link on Server 1 (USA), it should look something like this: http://etc. etc. etc./csp751_4600.exe (I'm not going to give the full link) Notice that at the end of the link, you see csp751_4600.exe. The 4600 tells you it is version 4.6. Version 4.4 would be csp751_4400.exe. Besides all that. the size looks correct for version 4.6.

	I've tried that but it says Access is Denied. Is there a problem or I'm just not doing it correctly?
