Mark Thanks for your reply, I know you found the slution of reloading the 727 and the sounds issue, I have fallowed this advice since day one; It works well. In my machine it takes longer and the graphics go crazy for a while until the plane loads for the second time. As Raul says it's not a show stopper....It's just not what it used to be when I purchased it back when it was v.2.1

I for one would like to see the rear belly door animated correctly. I have never seen a sliding rear belly door like that, it's always been a standard straight opening door. Undecided

I recently purchased the 727 Captain, and I must admit this aircraft is in  need of the version 2.5 upgrade! Is there any notice as to when this will happen? I must admit this is one of THE BEST aircraft modeled exterior and interior, gauges, cabin, etc. I truly love this aircraft, I just wish the known issues could be taken care of sooner than much later as seems to be the case. Hy

I don´t know if an update is coming. Only know that something is wrong with this last version , 2.4 that I bought yesterday, with I´m getting in trouble. Systems that suddenly don´t work like the built in GPS.  Angry
Perhaps the error is mine but if it is I ´l discover it soon. If no I expect that somebody can tell something about. Smiley

Regards
António

Jeff, the CS 727-100 is absolutely correct!

All doors on Boeing (except the large main cargo door on the fuselage) and for that matter most other modern jets are plug doors. That is the door is actually bigger than the opening so they open inward and either turn or slide up before they can open out. The sliding part of the rear door on the 727-100 series is just a fairing over the actual plug cargo door.

The cargo door on the 727-200 has the fairing built onto the door...

In order for the door to open it must slide up first before it can open outward because the door is larger than the opening in the fuselage.

I just purchased this bird... great fun! On thing that really gives me the willies though is to see the outside world streaming by through the slit in the floor just to the left of the pedal. Has anyone done a fix for this?

I did my own mod to remove the non-existent flap '20' setting but I don't have the skills to weld. Grin
