-300 or -300ER?
Oct 23rd, 2011 at 5:25am

I feel like I've asked this before, but it's quick, so I'll ask it again if I have indeed before. Is the CS 767-300 the Extended Range version, or just the regular one? I ask because the -300ER can fly over 1000nm farther.

Thanks,
boeing247

In the IDENT page of the CDU, it says 767-300ER. It does seem to have a range of close of about 6000nm. I have flown the 767-300 a maximum of about 5500nm with about 1-1.5 hours of fuel remaining.

Ah. Yes, I remember you telling me that before.  Wink Thanks again!

And I assume that the 777-200 and -300 will also be the ER models?

I think we will have the 77W. BTW people is asking about having the 77L as a variation of the 772ER too.
I'm personally waiting to see if CS ever confirms the production of the 764ER, but I think it will be long after the 777 and its versions are completed because they share some cockpit features already.  Tongue

Have a look in the aircraft.cfg. Under each of the default livery (fltsim.X) in the "description" you will see that it is like this:

description="777-200ER N770AN (cn 29578/185) Exterior Model\n777 Captain 0.1\n(c) 2011 Captain Sim www.captainsim.com"

As you will see, they are all described as being 777-200ER's. Wink

Ah. Good. I don't own the 777--I'm waiting for the VC, so I couldn't check that one (and anyway, the 767 aircraft.cfg file doesn't specify).

OK. Sorry, but I thought you owned the 777-200 Exterior. My bad. Wink

Need to get what changed to 300ER?

Note. I can't view the image in your reply. I only found out that there was one included in your reply, when I clicked on the QUOTE button. Sad

Having taken a look at the CS 767-300/300ER, it seems to be controlled by the model in use.

model=ge5
model=ge3
model=pw5
model=pw3
model=rr5
There is no rr3.MDL

So...
ge5, pw5 and rr5 all seem to be 767-300ER's
ge3 and pw3 all seem to be 767-300's

that's kinda weird...so that and the doors thing...ok. I hope they will flesh out the other flight model i.e. the fuel for one thing, I see it is the same for bolth...23,920 gallons, close to what wikipedia says for the ER.

Thank you Smiley
