Here's one:

What one thing on all Delta jets allows you to known immediately which airline that certain aircraft came from before, if it wasn't originally owned by Delta?

That would be correct. All former TWA planes read N123TW all former northwest planes feature N123NW

Not to pick nit Peter... not every plane in an airline has a common registration.

I can remember many different registrations in many airlines. It depended on who gave the best lease deal. Most times leasing is a better deal than outright buying.

Most airlines, when getting others' planes after mergers of purchases, changes the registration. Delta is the only not to

Well Peter, the Ozark planes kept their OZ "N" number as did many of the other TWA planes that had other than TW in the "N" number.

Its funny Lou, you've flown all of the Skyteam Delta 757s, because they're all TWA planes

Peter, I'll try again - NOT all TWA planes had a TW in the "N" number.
Many had very different tail numbers that did not end in TW.
How else can I say this?

No, i was saying that all of Delta's five Skyteam-painted 757s are from TWA, therefore you've probably flown all of them before.

I knew that one because all of the former TWA 757's that Delta owned went to American first.  Wink

Not every single one went to American; part of the TWA bankruptcy was that they began to liquidate some of their fleet before the American merger, Delta likes 757s and they took some of the ones TWA got rid of, even before they were planning to merge with American.
