Hey, a dog is man's best friend. Which, if what you've said about the crap F/O's get from pilots, is not true for copilots.  Wink

SLC-CGD (Charles de Gualle). Its a Boeing 767-300ER. Yes, its a long flight, takes them straight over Iceland. Due to Skyteam, Delta doesn't do LA-Paris, yet. He's doing another one today. Its a three day trip, high hours.

Wow. The longest my Dad ever did was probably KTPA -> KSEA.  Long though. I think just over 4 hr's depending on what model of the 737 he is flying.

Ooo! Southwest's biggest plane is Delta's smallest! Hehehe...sorry, just had to.

The longest route Delta flies from Atlanta to Johannesburg, South Africa to Atlanta. The flight takes 17hr and 5min and covers 7,334nm. That route is operated by a Boeing 777-200LR, it is the fourth longest scheduled route, behind Newark and L.A to Singapore, by Singapore Airlines in an Airbus A340-500 and Sydney to Dallas in a Qantas 747-400ER.

The Johannesburg to Atlanta flight consists of four flight crew, each taking two breaks. There's two captains and two FOs (most airlines have three FOs and oen captain) but the seniormost captain is the PIC and responisble for the plane.
