B757 engine start

I have been over the manual and advice from your site and I still can't restart the engines.  The left fuel switch on the pedestal stays in the down postion when I try to spoll up?  Is there some one who can give me a clear sequence on how to restart the engines that I can understand, I'm not a pilot.  All I see on your site is wait untill N2 shows 12 or 22 depending on engine before engaging some fuel switch. I'm using a CH Quadrant with the red fuel leavers to try to control the fuel.

Thanks TBenn

If you try to restart the engines in the air then you won't be to able to do so. It may be a bug or smth. else. Restarting on the ground should cause no problem.

Hi Raven,

I had never tried to restart the B-757's engines in flight. It was nice to read your post.

Hi Pinatubo.

Actually I was a little bit wrong saying you can't restart the engines in the air. You can do it starting APU and so on like on the ground. But you can't restart them switching Engines Start Switches to FLT position
