Boeing 767-200/300 for fs9

Now that another company had declard FSX already for dead is there anny change that there wil be also a fs9 version of the B767-200/300.

The reason that i ask this is that on the FS weekend in Lelystad another company has declard FSX for dead and they say that the sales for FSX products are dropping while the sales of FS9 products stay stabel.

If they did, then why are they now developing a lot of FSX only products?
Quite stupid discussing another developer here...

But I don't think there will be an FS9 version of the 767.
Captain Sim has stopped developing all other fs9 products so little chance they start again I think.

Wel at the FS weekend conference they told us that the sales of FSX products where dropping.

So i thought maybe there is a smale chance that CS could consider to make also FS9 products again thats why iam asking this question.

Hi Air Holand.

For you and a 767 for FS9. This is Captain Sims response in the Captain Sim 767 - It'd be nice in this topic: http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1252947576

We are sorry but there is zero chance we build the 767 for FS9.

This was also discussed at length earlier this year in the following Topic: http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1246585581

Regardless of what another company say. I believe Flight Sim X is growing in strength daily because of the drop in the price of computers that allow FSX to perform very well on them.

To add to the above, I will take it a step further, MSFS is officially Dead, with the closing of the Studio also there is no more true support from MS. FS2002 had better aircraft and was  aggod start for improvement and could have been top of the art, by MS. FS9 was not as good but was acceptable. FSX is more of an Arcade Game, than a true Simulation.

I have money invested in FS9, and mentioning the above, plan on no more purchases other than FS9.   I have FSX and the way it is presented on CD, it is a disaster to the Flight Simulator Community.  Most software companines  today are doing the same as MS: dumping customers with an older versions. Being a Vatsim Controller, I see more FS9 aircraft than FSX and more Sim crashes with FSX.

My true opinion!

MSFS is Dead? Really?  Interesting perspective.  Kind of "final" don't you think? Smiley

Since when has this been about the original FSX anyhow?  With all the tools/mods, it resembles the "Out of the box" FSX less, and less with each passing day!

And while I do respect what they are doing, don't you think another company has a vested interest in telling you FSX is dead?  Kind of adds to the "hype" around their new simulator.  "Marketing" is an interesting discipline, no? Grin

I just hope we get to see a B767-400 & -200F soon.  To add to an already nice product.

Best
Bill
