Why is it Vista incompatible (Curious - Specifics)

Hi,

I'm new around here, and I just want to say (seeing as its my first post), all of your products are outstanding! I absolutely love this C-130 and have many of the models/expansion packs.

I have been using them all on Vista so far though with no problem at all, yet everywhere you go where it's available for purchase, it says in massive red bold letters that it's not Vista compatible and no refunds are given.

I was just curious, what exactly is the problem with it and Vista? Why is it considered incompatible? (At least to some).
Problems with installing or something? I know I had to turn off UAC for it to work, but other than that it's been flawless ever since...

Thanks a lot! Looking forward to getting all the updates into the FSX version!

According to http://www.microsoft.com/games/pc/flightsimulator.aspx FS2004 (FS9) is not Windows Vista product. Therefore none of our expansions for FS2004 (FS9) is Windows Vista product either.
You may try to use our FS9 product at Vista at your own risk.
Please note as stated at the product description page we do not support technical issues appeared on systems that do not conform to the minimum system requirements.

Ah, very well. That makes sense.

Obviously, I understand it's my own fault when problems occur with a product that has been very clearly stated to be incompatible with my software/hardware. I was just curious as to the reasoning behind its incompatibility. But this answers everything!

Thanks for your response!

(And it works properly under my Vista 64bit, so no harm done!)
