Have you always wanted to get that great screenshot of multiple aircraft?
ever wanted to try air to air tanking with your KC-130 or just do a fighter intercept on a inbound 757?
Read this and I am going to download it and give it a try.

I read the article this morning. Looks promising for those who want to do some formation flying. I may try it out sometime in the future, but want to hear about your success with it, DAX.

Ive tested this utility, it is very easy to use and I can recommend it to everyone interested in formation flying, or just recording flights Smiley
There is beta avaible, that allows to play more than one aircraft as AI Wink

Well I gave it a try and   Smiley what a barral of laughs it is. The installation is simple. Just a dll file to copy into your modules folder and hey presto your a avaiation film maker.
The actual working of the interface is very simple only took a few minutes to master the various settings.

Took a "J" for a test flight around RAF Lyneham and recorded it. Then went for the formation flying.

Only had a slight slowing ofr frame rates but nothing to worry about. I tried a bit of animation (Cargo doors open) but nothing showed on the ai aircraft. The recorded flight even shows on the TCAS.
I had to turn off the collision in the realism settings. The collision bubbles are a tad big and I kept crashing into it. If you pause for a screenshot watch out. Even with the collisons turned off my aircraft suddenly ended up at 0 knots when un paused. Albert don't fly with no wind over wings.

Going to give it a longer try on the weekend.

Nice bit of freeware with hours of fun to be had.

two thumbs up for this one.

Dax

Dax, you should check box "record smoke" or something like that in the recorder settings Wink
