This aircraft is awesome! The VC is great. I made my own AC-130. I'm so glad that the normal E-model textures fit. Here's my version of the AC-130. Too bad it's only ficticious. Tongue

Aaron, you are so right - the AC 130 is a brilliant piece of work!
By the way, that a nice pic you've got there.

I saw a Black and Cammo Spectre livery.

THE FIRST HERCULES Adapted for the new Gunship configuration. Note the three bladed engines!!!

One rare photo of the short lived Cammo paint.

Sorry for the poor quality.

Is it possible for someone to paint them???

Wow, if that's not a blast from the past. I was stationed at Ubon RTAFB (8th Tactical Fighter Wing) from 1970-1971. I worked as a radio repairman mainly on the F-4C's & D's and the AC-130's were parked right next to us. Every day close to sundown we'd watch them take off and circle the field, boresighting their weapons before finally turning to course on their missions. If I remember correctly, and that was a long time ago, our base got the new E model (with the 105mm Howitzer) shortly after I left. But I could be mistaken on that.

Thanks for the photo and thank you Lockheed for the memories.

John
