I just finished an Icelandair repaint. I will upload soon.

I downloaded the 757-200 in Icelandair colours, unfortunately the gear, engine blades and wings are textureless. Any suggestions?

I downloaded one B757-200 livery from AvSim(Hooters livery) and had to unzip the folder into the B757-200 aircraft folder. The outside aircraft textures(fuselage) looked great with the exception of the cockpit, wheels,etc...there were no colors. Then I realized that I had to copy and paste textures from an existing B757-200 aircraft(original CS aircraft textures folder) into the Hooters folder. Everything looked fine from there. Of course I am just learning how to load new liveries. So far so good!

Yet, I would still like to find some good B757-300 liveries out there. Tongue

Aye, joe.

Sorry about that -- the only textures we as painters are allowed to release are the ones included in the paint kit.  All other textures have to be copied in withOUT overwriting.  This is to protect copyrights of CS as well as make for smaller downloads via the user.

It's easy to get used to, though.

Can anyone point me to the right direction, I cant seem to locate the United (Grey Colors) 757.

Thanks,

Bill

Captain Sim, could we get links to the acutal files instead of the website where the files would be located for the free liveries area.

Copy the black BOLD text that tells the title of the repaint on the Captain Sim site.

Paste it to AVSIM in the file search area.

AVSIM prohibits hotlinking, so CS had to stay doing just a general link to AVSIM -- but the titles and authors are intact.

For example -- to get that United Airlines paint - search "Robert Hollis" in AVSIM and all of his work, including that United repaint, will come up.

**EDIT**  I forgot that paint is on Surclaro - not AVSIM - I am not a member of Surclaro, but the procedure should still be the same.

You are right, Chris, thanks for help.
Infact we were trying to register at SurClaro - no luck. I will contact Robert and ask him to upload livery to AVSIM. I will let you know the result.

ATA lively anyone?

I do not know if this has been requested yet, or if it is in the progress of being made. It would really be a nice gesture, especially for us loyal Captain Sim pilots wich currently fly for ata virtual. The new 757 wich has been released does not have an ATA lively and I cannot seem to find one anywhere. (at least none have been painted for the Captain Sim model)  Cry

is there anyone here that would be generous enough to provide the simulator community with such a gift. I myself am not even close to take on the challenge of creating a re-paint since,  i cannot do repaints to save my life.

But I was wondering if anyone would be willing to take on that challenge. I know all of us pilots that use the 757 here at ATA-Virtual would really appreciate it.  Wink

I am by no means complaning, I really have no problems with the 757 wich has been currently released. I also appreciate the wonderfull 1.2 update very much. It it just a bit dissapointing being unable to fly such a great product within our VA.

By the way, keep up the good-work Captain Sim. I am eagerly awaiting Block F.   Smiley

sincerely, an ATA Virtual pilot.

Yes please, I am also looking for an ATA livery. I bought the 757 package figuring there had to be an ATA livery with the amount of repaints that are offered. I guess I too am requesting an ATA paint for the CS 757-200and -300.
