Pilots' Windows: Not Opening

Keystrokes for Pilots' Windows given as "Shift+E then 2".  This combination does not work.  Pressing Shift+E immediately opens Forward Door - pressing 2 immediately afterwards has no effect.  FS Keyboard correctly assigned (Event 1, 2. 3, etc).   Huh

Model: Pro 1.1

FS2004 (unpatched)

AMD Sempron 2600+, MMX, 3D Now, 2+GHz
RAM: 512 MB
nVidia GeForce FX5200, 128 MB, ForceWare v.81.98 drivers (latest spec')
Creative Labs Sound Blaster PCI
Asrock K7VT4A motherboard

It's a known problem in FS9. Shift E + (number) doesn't work reliably. Save yourself some frustration and just click on the window in VC - it'll open.  Wink
