I don't think it would be too hard, if they can externally model the J they should be able to do a gunship.  At least its an E so that will be right and the cockpit is the same.  Captains Sim pressurization will be true to Gunship speck almost non exhistent.  I would love to see one too; I would be willing to spend the $10.00 for that model.

The Spooky or AC-130U is an H2 and has limited pressurization capability.  The Spectre or AC-130H is an E model and has no pressurization capability.  Some of the other big differences are, the U model has a 25mm gatling gun just aft of the crew entrance door while the H only has the 105mm and 40mm guns.  Also, the H model does not have a crew entrance door that is where the ALLTV sensor is mounted.  The U model also moved the navigator and fire control officer to the back with the sensor operators and the electronic warfare officer leaving only the pilots and the flight engineer up front.  The link below has as much info as you would ever need on the gunship, a couple of corrections though, the H model no longer has the 20mm guns.  I would like to see an old AC-130A with the two 40mm guns, two 7.62mm miniguns and the two 20mm guns, and the three bladed props.
