FS24 - Official Update Version 1.1

Hi Pilots,

We appreciate the patience enduring the few bugs that were noticed during the initial FS24 release on the Marketplace.
Since the release, we have been testing further and fixing not only the original engine/fuel issues, but even more small things to make the flying experience better in FS24.

Great news, this week we are finishing the v1.1.0 update and will submit it to the MP, once it passes their internal pipeline the update will be available.
Once ready an official change-log will be posted here mentioning all improvements and fixes.

Fellow pilots,

Thanks for holding tight, v1.1.0 has been submitted to the MP! Would be great to see it live in next weeks release window.
Once available you will receive a notification that an update is available when loaded in the sim. Smiley

Hi, I just rented the 111 to give it a try. I noticed a few issues, but the main one that prevented me from enjoying it is that the autopilot seems to be completely disabled. I couldn't flip the switch on the handle, I couldn't activate it using the command key (Alt Z in my case), nor could I enable it using PMS50's GTN 750 which works (so far as I've tested) with all aircraft that have an autopilot.

When I loaded the aircraft today, I was able to flip the switch so I bought the aircraft. As soon as I bought it and restarted the sim, the switch doesn't work anymore! Restarted the sim, still doesn't work. I'm wondering if it's a fluke that it worked earlier today?

I did notice some other issues too, though none would keep me from enjoying the aircraft.

- The props appear to be counter rotating. I'm not sure if that's real life or not, but the blades are not and the aircraft pulls on the runway. I think one perhaps spins the wrong way.

- Only the port (left) oil cooler seems to work, but it cools both engines. The right appears to do nothing.

- Only the port (left) radiator seems to be function as well. It cools both engines.

- When the fuel tanks are full, the center of gravity is so far forward that the max 12% trim is only barely enough (with full power) to keep the aircraft flying level. It very badly wants to nose dive.

- There's something hanging out of the starboard side of the aircraft stuck in a window. I don't know what it is, or if it's real. I can't find any pictures of a real plane with one... Can anyone tell me what it is and if it should be there? It won't let me post a screenshot.

Hey Jackkend,

The AP switch, did it switch on in a different stage of flight? Apron, cruise etc?

Oil + coolant are unified systems by default logic. Our interaction is coded correctly, but since its one system either lever will affect both engines.

Have you tried playing with the CG settings in the EFB?

That's the antenna! Just like the IRL aircraft we had our references on. You can visually toggle the antenna when in-flight via the Clipboard right pilot side.

Thank you so much for the reply!

The first time, and every time after the second, I could not get the switch to toggle at any time, anywhere. All times were started cold and dark I think, tho I'll double check that.

Other aircraft don't have this issue with multiple engines tho...? Either way, this isn't a make or break issue for me, but the AP definitely is!

Yes, I did mess with it on the EFB. It shows the weight way out of bounds. It goes out of bounds once the fuel passes 9% full. The more full it gets, the further it goes out.

Ok! I think it is starting cold and dark that stops the AP switch from working. I've reliably started it a few times cold and dark and had it not work, and started on the runway already running in which case it does work.

I think there's still a couple of wonky things about it besides that, too. If you go to "Configure" for the plane in your hanger, the plane's image flickers too.
