How to copy install .exe files to external drive

I purchased the 757 and 767 for Prepar 3D V4.5.  I downloaded the .exe files and installed them.  I want to save a copy of the .exe files to my external hard drive, in case my computer crashes, etc.  When I try, it gives me a message that not all the properties will be copied to my external drive.  How can I fix that?

Where are the files saved to: C:\Users\<YourUserName>\Downloads folder?

I can only think that you may not have the authority (your user name is DOES NOT administrative rights on the computer) to move them. This is likely if you have Windows 10 Home/Basic (not the Pro, or higher version). With those lower versions, I'm not even sure that you can take ownership of them (which really makes them difficult to work with when I'm working on a PC with OS problems).

You might have better luck copying them to an external HDD if you use the Extended Download Service to download the exe's direct to the C: root directory (not recommended, but should work), or create a new folder just to download them to, like say C:\CaptainSim (recommended) - You need to save them in a place where the OS won't block you.

OR. You might even be able to download them directly to where you want them to be saved on the external HDD. For this, you have to make sure that when downloading from the browser, it ASKS you where you want to save the files to. Mine is always set to that so I can save everything to where I WANT them saved, and not always in the C:\Users\<YourUserName>\Downloads folder.

Does the current 767 .exe file on your site have the latest update included with it?

You go to this site for the latest update: https://captainsim.net/products/y767/sops/updates/ - #2 has the link to the update download (csy763_1002.exe). You can also copy that over to your external HDD too if you like, it's a small file (7.9MB).

Were you able to copy the installation files for the 757, and 767, to your external HDD?

Order number issue

Hello, Mark

Recently I purchased the KC-130 expansion for FS9, however I'm having an issue related with the order number during the installation. Apparently, this problem has nothing to do with AV due to the message informing that the order number is not found in your records.

Please, let me know if there is some way to solve this!

And BTW, sorry for writing a matter that is not so related with the current topic of this page but I really needed to inform this situation somehow.
