Trim wheel sound - how to reduce volume

Hi
I looked for the .wav file, but couldn´t find it. It is louder than the engines and really annoying. Reducing cockpit sounds inside the sim did not help. Can someone help me to find this sound? I think I´d modify it a bit.
Thanks Dan

If you can modify the file, great.

It's at ..\Prepar3D v5\Captain_Sim\737-classic\sound\4048.wav.

Go to Prepar3Dv5\Captain_Sim\737-classic, or Prepar3D v4\Captain_Sim\737-classic, and open the sound.ini file with Notepad.
Find [Sound.91] and change the volume:

[Sound.91]
;elev trim wheel
File=4048.wav
Id=3700105
Volume=1.0

I changed the setting to Volume=0.5, and it's a lot quieter now.

Oh that sounds sweet. Will try that first. Thanks
