737 - FSX - Engine Covers and simicons

I was going through the manual and understand that in order for engine covers to be animated the engine needs to be off. The pilots animation also works when engines are off.

I found that with engines off, the pilot animations work 100% but the engine covers do not. The right engine cover remains on as it should.

The left engine cover though, it appears for a few seconds then disappears - almost as if there is power from the left engine. But engine is off. The left engine cover animation seems to be buggy.

I love the product by the way.

Oh the other small thing. FSX install, simicons button for radios is disabled. Manual indicates this should only be the case for P3D install.

Thanks.

The engine covers are working correctly for me in FSX, and FSX:SE. In other words they remain there after I use the Animations Panel to place them on both of the engines (and that the engines are shut down).

You are correct for the Radios Panel, it is not there in both FSX, and FSX:SE, even though the Radio Icon is on the Simicons Panel!
