Not starting at any condition

Hi,
just installed and I faced a issue at starting. The plane starts if only I previously chose a "CS Cleared for TO from KVPS". After that I change the plane and the apt, and only after that (and not always) it can be started. Worse, when I try to load a condition from the menu (Load one of the options), the "ready for TO" doesn't work. In the v4 version none of this occurred, and the start procedure is the very same as before.
  Thanks for any help,

I had to select "ready for takeoff" twice for it to work.

I tried 4 times, but to no avail. it's always necessary to start from a "ready to TO from KVPS". it's clearly a bug; hope it will be fixed.

Hi,
possibly the tutorial refers to v4, since in v5 it doesn't work. I re-tried, but the only condition it's working  is when I first choose the "CS ready to fly from KVPS"; after that, I can change aircraft version and airport and the plane is set to C&D. Only after that I can start the 1011.
   regards,
       Fulvio
NB:None of this used to happen in v4. I can as well show you the issue via Skype.

When trying to start the L-1011, is the ACC Ess Bus Power Selector switch in OFF position, or have you moved it to a different setting?

In the attached image, I have moved it to the B3(G1)

Edit. Oh! And also make sure to turn on the 3 ENG ISLN VALVE switches, under ENGINE BLEED CONTROL, on the Second Officer's Upper Panel!

Hi Mark,
I reinstalled it and this time the ready to fly option did work, but for two engines only-the third one doesnt work. The attached screenshots are my ready to fly. Don't waste more time, BTW; I'll manage this plane with the option I already told you. Select the default CS flight ready for TO from KVPS and so on. I'm tired to look at tutorials when I know very well how it should work.
    Thanks for your help,

Hi,
I won't bother you anymore; I understand I'm the only unfortunate man on this Earth with a 1011 not working properly.

The APU is off since it goes to Off when I choose the APU ON from the menu. I should like to know why. And, if you take alook at my last screenshot, I should like to knwo too why, after choosing the Ready to fly optnio from the menu, the mdi engine doesn't start,

I don't know why  this happens, but it happens to me too, so I have to start the APU myself.

To use the Ready for Takeoff option, I have to load that panel state twice. The first time, the engines spool up, but don't start. On the second use, all 3 engines start, and continue to run.

The Cold and Dark panel state works fine, sort of. If I have turned on the Battery Switch, and get the 1011 to any point beyond that, i.e. turning on things like the INS, or WXR, or used a panel state that turns the Battery Switch on, then if I select the Cold and Dark panel state, everything gets turned off except the Battery Switch.

I have created a panel state that has the 1011 turned on, with the External Power on, set it as the default panel state, and then set the panel state to Always Load Default, and this works perfectly fine for me. The procedure to continue to a point of starting the engines and continuing a flight from that point on, works just fine.

In my opinion, there does appear to be something not right with the panel states, but I can't figure out why that is/what is causing it.

As for why the #2 (mdi (mid?)) engine started, is very wierd, because like I said, once I load the Ready for Takeoff panel state a second time, all 3 engines are running fine.

Hi
I was told when bought that the plane brings a ready to fly mode, by simply launching it. Well, just installed it in P3D 5 and when launched it shuts down. Despite pressing the control +E it does nothing. After done it again the initialization of the system freezes p3d and then crashes
How can I avoid the initialization of the system and then make the plane to launch already started?
This is not making me happy

Thanks
Carlos

What is your default flight - the flight that starts in P3Dv5, whether that be after you select OK once the scenario screen shows up at the beginning (provided you have selected "Show on Startup" on the scenario screen)?

It's possible that it could be in a ready to fly mode if the default flight is used, but seeing as that was the first thing I changed after starting P3Dv5 the first time after installing it, I've never tried it. I've also cheated, because my startup flight is the C172 in a cold and dark setting (with avionics switch turned on). The C172 was copied from FSX to P3Dv5, and other than the problems I've previously mentioned, the L-1011 works fine for me.

I just started the L-1011 in P3Dv5, and after selecting "Ready for Takeoff" (twice), it is then in a "ready to fly mode".
