Current CG -0.1%

At the gate, I loaded 46.7LB payload and 19.8LB fuel (short flight).

GW 265.0  ZFW 245.2

Calculated CG was -0.1%.

Is this correct? I've never seen it negative before. Calculated trim ended up being about 4.11 if I recall correctly.

Thank you,
Jas

What does the PAX/CARGO page look like? To get a -0.1% for the CG, there must be too much weight distributed to front, or back, of the 767. Any passengers?

With no PAX (1st 0/18, Business 0/12, Coach 0/211), and the CARGO set to Cargo FWD 33.7, Cargo AFT/Bulk 11.6/2.0, and the FUEL set to 19.8LB/12.3%, the CG is -1.4% (see attached image). Shocked

That's a good question. The answer is, I don't know because I didn't grab that screenshot. But I will do that the next time this happens.

My virtual airline is beta testing this aircraft for use with our airline and check rides. Our ACARS software development staff is nearing completion on the integration with this aircraft. The ACARS beta software loaded my passengers, cargo, and fuel for me (but I don't know how the pax were allocated in the cabin). I did grab screenshots of the ACARS loading screens in case you're interested.

If and when this happens again, I will be sure to grab more detailed screenshots of the 767 FMC for you. Thank you for your time.

Jas

I flew another short hop tonight and experienced more of the same result. If you would be so kind as to let me know if the aircraft pax/cargo/fuel is being loaded incorrectly or if the Current CG -2.9% is a correct calculation.

Thank you,
Jas

I looked at it closer. Our ACARS software is loading too many pax in first class. I believe that is the cause here.
