Autopilot EICAS message upon touchdown

Whenever I perform a manual landing with both the autopilot and auto throttles disconnected I get a EICAS alert saying "Autopilot" as soon as I touch down. This is a bug that unfortunately has not been fixed ever since the 757 was released.

Isn't that regular A/P disconnection?
If not we need a proof from the Manual.

It is not regular. When a manual landing is performed, the airplane loses G/S signal then it triggers an autopilot eicas message. It does not happen in real situations.

Hi,

I have recently posted a bug report in the 757 Bug Tracking forum regarding this same message, containing references from the 757 manual.
I hope this is sufficient evidence for a 757/767 hotfix or update to adjust the message.
