Does the HOLD function work correctly?
I tried it recently on a flight EDDL to ESGG during the descent phase and after entering the hold info,  the plane began climbing!! The hold altitude was lower than my actual alt when it happened,

Maybe I did something wrong, hence my question.
It's a simple entry. What could I have done wrong?

Please advise.
Thanks

Gee, come on folks.
Just a simply yes it does or no it doesn't.
I have tried a second time and this time it totally ignored the hold.

Please help, someone from the CS team or Mark from OZ.

I have followed the instruction manual (CS) on entering a hold.
Each time the plane gets to the hold, it skips it and goes to the next waypoint.

Can someone please explain how to get this function working.

Why does one have to try sucking it out of you guys at CS ?

I am a paying customer and I expect support NOT silence or sarcasm.
Just guide me through the procedure.
This must be the saddest support forum on the internet!!!

So I fly the holdings off and on and the Boeing 752 flies them more or less clean (rather less). To program a holding, simply call up the HOLD page. First, a prompt appears in the form of 5 boxes for HOLD AT on the LEGS page under LSK 6L. Just press the LSK to the left of the navigation point to define the holding, the name will appear in the Scratchpad and you will take it into the boxes under LSK 6L. The HOLD AT page will appear. On top of this is once the holding point, then enter under LSK 3L the inbound radial. I leave the holding time under LSK 4L at 1.5 minutes leg time or extend this if necessary. You can also specify a leg distance below LSK 5L. Under LSK 1R you can set the speed, which is then flown by VNAV. If you are done, you must complete the entries with EXEC, the entry is now transferred to the LEGS Page and appears as HOLD AT below the navigation point initially approached. The whole thing is pretty unclean and also very far from the way, but maybe the holding is calculated or displayed incorrectly. The accuracy seemed to me bigger synonymous, if the holding with the routing inbound course agreed and you really set a speed below LSK 1R, the recommended speed is up to 265 Kts, depending on the flown altitude
