Hi,

I have this same problem too. It is just a bug. Right now I get it to work by clicking the A/T Arm switch multiple times until it sticks.

Hopefully it will be fixed in v1.2  Smiley

Hey guys,

Turn the FD (flight director) OFF, then back ON.  Now you should be able to engage the autothrottle.

Mine works fine too.

Why don't you try reinstalling the add-on following the steps as shown below? (one each time)

1) Reinstall the add-on using the [REPAIR] option, or;

2) Uninstall the add-on, clean all registry data [start > regedit.exe (run as administrator) > Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\CaptainSim\ x770 and x772], restart PC and install it again, or;

3) If the problem persists, maybe your installer is corrupted.

a) Uninstall the add-on, clean all registry data [start > regedit.exe (run as administrator) > Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\CaptainSim\x770 and x772];

b) Download it again.

Check-in to Customer Support > Select product > Extended Download Service > Get New Links;

c) Restart PC and install the add-on from the new installer.

If I keep clicking the FD and AT switches it will eventually work.

Well I've gotten it to work... randomly.

Sometimes it will engage on the first time... other times it will take me ten minutes of clicking to finally get it to work

I hope you guys are submitting tickets for this problem. Although Captain Sim view the forums, the support tickets puts it "in their face" and gets their attention to it.

I would assume that the A/T not working would make VNAV impossible to use. Bummer! Sad

Good Morning! I have experienced the autothrottle issue, and was stumped for a bit; even toggling the FD didn't solve it. Then I went back to "primitive" methods and tried the Shift-R keystroke toggle.

That always gets the autothrottle powered up for me, and after that the switch works fine. Until I start another flight...

Regards,
Mitch White

PS I've not seen the problem yet in ver. 1.2, but I've only got 3 flights in so far. M

Can you confirm or anyone that when you press the shift+R on the 200LR that you
can toggle the autothrottle on or off because I can't.
