Always stalling

Hi ! I reinstalled the 75 i bought long ago. I Use ASE2012 as real weather i set up the plane set up the flight plan and all activate all and i have the following problem. First my arrival airport was DTTJ and when i selected the star adding the landing runway and the transition on the FMC the last point was not the star i didnt have the runways displayed in the FMC  and scrolling around the ND the flight plan eneded up at the last waypoint before enetering the star and nothing else after it. The most important problem is the following. After take off i retract the gear but even if i have a low climbing rate like 1500 as soon as i insert the autopilot and vnav and LNAV the speed decrease and the plane stall. I tried 3 flights and all withthe same result. What is the problem with the plane? It makes exactly the same with the 777. Take off insert autopilot LANV VNAV and stall. Is the stall partof the climbing checklist?  Grin

Thanks
Alfredo

Hi, Alfredo. Say, which version of the plane are you using? The current one would be 4.6, showing as 4600 or something on the installer. The older ones could develop problems with faulty FSUIPC installations, hence my question.

Well, to rule out any weather influence, can you perform a few flights with setting FSX to default weather, perhaps with the 'all clear' (don't know the exact name) preset? If the issue still comes up, can you describe how it usually starts?

My Captain Sim aircraft work fine with AS2012, although it has been a while since I flew the 757, so i'll need to recheck it. For the problems with the End of Route or missing T/D, see these Topics:
Fix for missing T/D in CDU/FMS and Fix for missing end of route.
I know this is in the 767 Captain forum, but the 767 has the same problem with the end of the route going missing, or the STAR and APPROACH waypoints missing. Those fixes work for me on the CS757 AND CS777 too. Wink

Have you set the CDU/FMS completely? Especially the TAKEOFF REF page where you click on the LSK 1R, 2R and 3R to set the V Speeds? I've never had the 757 stall and crash UNLESS the climb is too steep (5000+ fpm), too soon after takeoff, when I first turn the A/P on (once I'm above 200 feet AGL).

Well i downloaded it yesterday so i do have the latest version. The more should i reinstall FSUICP? As last day i had a problem with thei module when i loaded FSX about the Dll.

For the weather maybe it just gives me some rolling and to stop it i need to disengage AP level the plane and engage it again. For the missing ToD thanks And for the Missing end route th eproblem is yesterday i had only ILS 35 Y AND Z whatever i chose i had no runway inserted so i had to insert the route manually from charts.

Thanks Guys For the help.

Well the fixes for the missing end of route or T/D work if the ILS runway has a X, Y or Z for me (which are the main ones I have problems with).

I don't get the rolling problem EXCEPT when my MS Sidewinder FF2 starts leaning to one side. I just centre my joystick, and the 757 stops rolling, so the joystick is the cause of the rolling problem for me.

Edit: You should reinstall FSUIPC, because the version that is installed with the 757 v4.6 is quite old now.

HI Mrk ! that is what i meant. The problem is when there is an ILS proc. With Z Y or whatsoever. But in utr nice tutorial there is written to identify the ils runway without the use of the Y W proc but in case in the datebase there is only ilS35 Y and ILS 35 W ?

If you have a chance could you please see if your can get a T/D for this flight. KTPA-KATL - depart 01L, ENDED5 SID, tansition CTY, HONIE9 STAR, transition CTY, land 27L. This route is essentially a SID and STAR with CTY as the transition for both. I flew it this morning with Version 4.6 and tried 12 times to get a T/D. FL340 to 6000 at IAF in about four miles. I know the work around worked in 4.4 and it might take several tries in 4.6 but 12 times with no success is a bit to much.

Thank you

I tried this (using AIRAC 1306). If I don't select the SLVAA transition (right side below ILS27L), then I end up missing the end of the route. If I add that, I get the end of the route.

Once I get the end of the route with SLVAA, I went to the end of the route and changed GRMPI from /4000A to /4000 (can't hurt too much seeing as it's only 5nm before the DEPOT waypoint with /2800 altitude constraint), then copied GRMPI to the cratchpad and copied/pasted over SEJAY, waited about 10 seconds) then pressed LSK 6R (<ERASE) and it "stuck".

If I use just 27L with HONIE9.CTY, then I will probably need to add the waypoints from WOLMN through to GRMPI, which could work IF I make GRMPI waypoint /4000 instead of /4000A (same result as if using SLVAA transition) except for the final waypoint before RWY27L.

Hope this helps

Maybe I was not waiting long enough to erase and also I was not changing GRMPI from /4000A to /4000 but it works now.

Thank you for the help

No worries.

Just so you know. If I wait for 10 seconds and it fails to "stick", I then wait 20 seconds to see if it will "stick". If it still fails to "stick", then I try with a different waypoint. It really is very frustrating.

I have to admit that sometimes I give up on it and fly something else. It's sad that I feel like that sometimes. Sad

I'm hoping that if it gets fixed for the 777, then they'll pass it back to the 767 and 757. Undecided
