Yes I have tried reloading, several times.I have did it with a disc that I got when I bought it.I also tried it with the download because that is the way I installed it first.I made sure that I put run as administrator in the properties and the same when I install it.

Thank,s for the reply,I went back through post and came across one from last fall which was the same problem exactly that I have. He finally fixed it by putting in his FXS Acceleration EX pack and doing a repair.I did that and it worked, never would have thought of that.Nice to have everything working. Happy flying.

Hi I have a similar problem, I choose 757-200, my airport, time and click fly now, but when loaded my VC is unclickable, I can't click nothing than glareshield and thrust levers.

I can't align IRS, or power BAT o switch ON the APU. All knobs, rotary and buttons are unusable.

Any help please?

Try doing a reinstall (repair) of the 757-200. Backup you aircraft.cfg and any addition liveries (texture.XXX folders) you have added.

1) If you use Vista/Win7/Win8/Win8.1, make sure you install it using the "Run as administrator" option.
2) When reinstalling, it's worth turning of you Anti-Virus software (or its shields) as it might prevent a proper install.
3) Try running FSX using the "Run as administer" option. specially if you use Vista/Win7/Win8/Win8.1 and FSX is installed in the default location of C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86). Note. I use this option all the time for FSX even though it's installed on a separate HDD and partition to the C: drive.

Hope this helps

Mark I made as you suggested, unistalled, reinstalled and repair. Nothing change. I tried tomsave a cold and dark state via cessna 172 default and change to 757, but nothing change.

Is there a way to completely uninstall it?
I mean completely.I want that installer ask me for my serial key, and now when I reinstall it doesn't ask me for. I suppose that installation is corrupted and even if I uninstal/install nothing change,

I have to start from scrtach, any help?

The best thing to try now, is to do a complete uninstall/reinstall as explained in KB #685:

Q: How to reinstall a product?

A:
Quite a number of "issues" are caused by using of outdated version of a product. Prior to submitting a support request please make sure you have current version of a product.

To reinstall a product please perform the following steps in exact order:
Uninstall the product:
1. Go to Start> Programs> Captain Sim.
2. Select the product you wish to uninstall.
3. Click uninstall icon.

Install the product:
4. Make sure you have the latest version of the product
5. Run the product installer (the .exe file) and follow the prompts.
Please note: valid Order Number and Internet connection are required for installation/activation.

Please make sure you run the installation file as Administrator and that "User Account Control" is disabled (for Vista and Windows7), it limits admins ability to install programs.

If regular reinstall did not fix your problem you can try to clean registry.
Please be careful and do it on your own risk!

How to clean Registry:
1. Uninstall the product
2. Go to Start> Run. Type: regedit, click OK.
3. Find the product entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CaptainSim\ (please note, for Windows 64bit versions it is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\CaptainSim\)
For example: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CaptainSim\C130XPRO
Make sure you are going to delete correct folder!
4. Delete the product entry folder.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Install the product.

If you stil have issues and the above does not help we must admit your system configuration is a rare exception. You can try to install the product on another system or request a refund.

From: General / Download/Installation (QID 685)

It would be worth doing a Manual Offline Activation, rather than the Instant Online Activation. I have been using Manual Offline Activation for a long time now and never had a problem with the process. Wink

Mark thanks a lot for your help, I tried all you suggest me without any success.

But maybe a find something interesting. i think problem reside not in 757 installation, the problem is the way VC is loaded. Infact if I choose fly now my 757 is loaded in VC directly amd nothing works as said, ok?

If I switch to 2d view and then back to VC now all knobs, button and levers works perfectly. So, what can be? It's a very strange problem.

Do you have any suggestion? Some tip I can apply to solve this annoing problem? Thanks in advance.

I have no idea why that would be. I always load the 757 into FSX with the VC view. Undecided
