Hot key for Windowed mode to extend Full View mode

I am interested to learn how to make a map WIN+F11 hot key to extend windowed mode to Full View screen.
I downloaded " Pseudo Full screen Workaround" from Avsim Library, unfortunately simple matter turned to be a puzzle for me.

Do you know how to manage it ?
Thanks

What does 'Pseudo Full screen Workaround' actually mean? Just out of interest.  Huh I only know ALT-Return for switching, but I guess this isn't what you want, right?

CoolIP, good to hear from you. Smiley "Pseudo Full screen Workaround" this is a small soft ware developed  and highly recommended for  P3D. Navidia inspector tweaks better applicable with windowed mode. There fore this program extends the windowed mode to full screen  with out loosing windowed mode benefits.

BTW I am 100% in with P3d. I feel like that I got FSX upgrade version  P3D. Everything is very smooth, perform ace high and scenery is better then FSX. (That is my opinion)  Cheesy

That's good to hear. See? Testing therefore made sense in your case.

I still wonder about the window mode though. Isn't it just a maximized window then? That's how I'm running FSX, but without a tool or something. Does the tool hide the window title maybe?

Yes it is just maximized window with hiding upper bar. You can select to hide the window bar, through window task bar. If you know how to hide upper bar, it will solve my problem. Cheesy

I had never heard of this but I have downloaded and installed it out of interest.

For anyone else who would like to try it.

Download locations.

Autohotkey here http://l.autohotkey.net/AutoHotkey_L_Install.exe

pseudo_full_screen.zip

This link should work if you are a member and logged in.

http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=158165

otherwise search using the filename.

First, run AutoHotkey_L_Install.exe as an administrator and install the top (32bit) choice in the installer menu.

Once you have done this, you should have generated a tile or icon like this

This is one in Windows 8.

Click on the tile or icon and you will see this screen.

Browse to the location of the fullscreen.ahk file you downloaded from Avsim, select the location for your .exe file below, in my case D:\Unzipped for both, and click on >Convert<

You will then find an .exe file wherever you chose to save it

Run that as an administrator and you will see this icon in your taskbar

Now run FSX (or P3D?) and you will be able to toggle to and from the full screen window as you wanted.

I can see no difference between this and full screen FSX achieved by Alt+Return but I have left it installed and keep my mind open.

By the way, it removes the taskbar without the need to set it to autohide and while it is running in the taskbar, pressing Win+F11 will have the same effect on any other active window.

Regards,
Nick.

I guess I would question why you would need another program along with its associated memory and CPU overheads to do what a simple two key command would do cleanly and quickly?

I fly only in P3d in fullscreen mode. Unfortunately fullscreen mode what ever the reason, does not come alone with Navdia Inspector. Flashes happens when I open any screen.  if I fly windowed mode performance excellent and sim like a silk, but I like flying in full screen. Solution was get all windowed mode benefits and with Hotkey extend windowed mode to full screen (not fullscreen mode). Alt+Enter is not my desired solution  Smiley
