727 Captain in Windows 8

The 727 Captain works very well in FSX on Windows 8.

The ONLY problem i am having with it is the sounds - No Smoking, Seat Belt, Altitude Alert chime and Crew Announcement Panel sounds do not work at all. Nothing I try gets them to work. The solution used in Windows 7 does not work for Windows 8

Other than that, it works as well on Windows 8 as it does on Window 7. Very nicely.

Nice to hear that Bernardo. I rarely use Win8 at the moment because FSX has a weird mind of it's own in it. It will run fine one day, then CTD every five minutes the next! Sad And I want the START menu back! Wink

That is weird mark, Since I got this computer with Win8,I've had to learn from a-new , like the time I got Vista. I have FSX in the win8 start window unpinned; When I click on it it goes to the standard windows desktop and then it starts, there I have the start menu.
I am not as knowledgeable as many, just telling you my experience.berlopez.

RE: Windows 8 , when you have FSX in the start window, are you right clicking it and starting it as administrator?

No I wasn't...Just did and chose start as administrator from the bottom, and the User account Control came up. Thanks for the tip... Smiley

Maybe I waited too long...Bought me a copy of registered FSUIPC4 and most of my issues with 727 are now solved. Still testing...
