I want to know if you're aware of the three main issues with the exterior model and are planning to fix them in the next update.

1. The nose, no big deal, we know what it needs to be done.

2. The winglets... PLEASE I'll pay for those lol. Really, the 767-300 is a majestic model when wingleted, correction, when big/realistic wingleted.

3. The Pratt & Whitney model is also wrong, the engine is smaller than the CF6 but, it would be awesome if the engine was actually modelled correctly.

Agreed, this would make the model flawless. Nose, engines and winglets.

Too be honest, the CS 767 nose looks fine to me, so what is the problem you are talking about?

Look for another posts here that show real nose comparisons with the CS model, I included that as people seem to want another nose but I personally don't consider that a MUST. I do however NEED new PW engines and bigger winglets for considering myself... happy? lol

What is it that is wrong with the nose? The Captain Sim 767's nose looks perfectly fine to me.

I'm flying with a DELTA right now and it doesn't look like this

How can i describe it... it's not separated from the rest of the body, you don't notice the separation line and you also don't notice the lines in the tip of the nose. It's the best i can describe  Grin

Isn't that heavy seam, between the fuselage and the nose cone, cosmetic? Can't it be added using the repaint kit? Or does it only need bump mapping?
I'm guessing that the "lines on the nose cone" only need to be added using bump mapping.

Either way, it has never bothered me. Cheesy

Well the seem and radar reflector strips can be added later on. The shape looks fine.

Exactly, the shape is fine, the detail might be added with bump mapping or paint maybe...

I can see these lines on the CS models. They are just really lightly shaded grey, I'm sure that you can go over them with some dark colour?

Yes, the plastic nose with the typical lines would make a huge difference.

See my picture in the Topic "A real Boeing nose". For some reason I cannot upload pictures anymore. I always get the complaint "102kb cannot be uploaded"!?

I've been getting that a lot too.
When I get that message, I close (exit) my browser. Restart my browser. Return to the page I want to ad the image, and it uploads.
It's a work-around of sorts.

Thanks Markoz, I tried it but it won't work.
Well, I have just found an approach/departure video of a EuroAtlantic 767 on youtube. Near tailstrike!
In these colours, the 767 looks really sleek and elegant. The engines look smaller than the CS ones. On approach, the left and right main gear look less apart than with my CS one. Maybe this has to do with the difference in size of the engines?
IMHO the trouble is that there is a difference. It is just very hard to tell what it is. Something is not right. For that reason I only bought this particular add-on about half a year ago. Of course, apart from that, it is really good. I just wish CS could change the outside so that it feels just right to the eyes.

Here's the link to the video I've mentioned:

Hmm. It still works for me. Undecided

Nice video (wow that was close) and a very nice paint scheme. Smiley
