How to make a good signature?

i see lots of people with their own signatures, and the pictures are high quality, not pixelated, if you look at the America West signature I made, its all pixelated and bad, I've seen a United 757 with good quality, Air Canada 777, lots of good stuff, so I was wondering how to make it not pixelated? I use FRAPS to take a screenshot (which is really high quality when its the original big size) and when i shrink it down, it gets pixelated.

All I did is use the in game screenshot, default value "V".

Then I croped it and saved the size to about 70 x 200 pixels.

I use Photoshop, I crop the image...but just left and right then resize it so the horizontal is 270 pixles...doesn't matter what the vertical is. I have a template made (is what I use) with the border at the bottom- CS website and text above that etc. then the image goes under both of those layers. I leave the room top and bottom to adjust the image in the frame. Then the full sized sig gets resized to 270x68...keeps the image sharp when you shrink it...I think. Huh

if you want...post one or send me a full size screen shot and I'll send you back a sig if you want...? Smiley

Yeah I wanted to know how you kept the border and the little captain sim.com at the bottom.

I just did my best to eyeball the font(looking at the CS ones, my text is too small) and like I said...photoshop layers...the white portion with text goes over the image.

post some pics, ill make you a sig:) or I could share my PS doc Smiley

you are very welcome and thanks, I just used the screenshot Captain Sim posted on Facebook of the LR.

I sent a PM, and have an updated PSD if you still want it.
