Braking issues upon landing

Every time I land the plane wants to break until I have come to a complete stop on the runway. If I try to do a high speed exit of the rw the plane continues to fight me by applying breaks. This stops one I have come to a complete stop and set parking break however. And no, I have not selected autobrakes.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I have the same problem with my CP 737-200. I have the B727 and it doesn't do it and I have the C130 it also doen't do that braking at landing. Have you found a fix yet? I just bought my 737-200 last week and it a nice plane but I am really un happy with the braking problem.

Out! Bobby

I had a similar problem and this is what I did to "fix" it. I opened the aircraft.cfg found in ([FSX]\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B737-200) and edit the line auto_brakes = 5 to auto_brakes = 0. Like I did it here:

[brakes]
parking_brake = 1         //Parking brake available
toe_brakes_scale = 0.885  //Brake scalar
auto_brakes = 0
hydraulic_system_scalar = 1  //On brakes dependant on the hydraulic system, ratio hyd system to max brake hyd pressure

Does this completely disable the autobrake feature?

Breaking.. is that the thing you are supposed to do before the grass begins? Ok, I guess I'll try that.  Cheesy

I find that the grass can help you stop. Well it does if I'm taxiing and end up on the grass. I find I need more power from the engines to start moving and to maintain the speed on the grass. Cheesy

That's what I like, practical thinking. Who cares if the runway is green or not, it's still a runway, right?  Cheesy
Who is the guy with the signature 'if in doubt/trouble, add power!'? That's the spirit!  Grin

Hmm. I don't know. But imagine the following scenario: 1000 feet AGL,  a -90 degree AOA and 400 knots KIAS. I can't see how adding power is going to help. Shocked
