Stunning livery, waiting for the Avsim download to become available and I'll give it a try immediately,
Thank you so much!!\

Regarding the European liveries, would you please consider a 1978 Transavia livery? I just can't seem to insert the pictures right, but the link should show.

Best regards, Marc

Seriously, much appreciated this paint! I'll be surely looking for real-world flightplans for it today. Thanks again.

Well said. Smiley

They may have taken a bit more than a few hours to show up on Avsim, but they finally did. I am currently fly MEL to SYD for my first flight in VH-OBN! It looks fantastic.

All I need to do now, is figure out a nice short flight to do in G-GPFI. Undecided

Here is a pic of my flight from Stansted to Belfast:

Right now, I'm just about to fly over the Isle of Man. Grin It pays to look straight down, if you can! I wasn't even near the English coast yet. I've just started the descent, but I'm still some 30nm from the Isle of man. Sad

Forgive me people, but I don't know where many of these places you lot are speaking of. So I need to look them up in FSX, then plan a route in FSC9, then go and do the flight.
So please excuse me while go and and find out where Lanzarote is! Embarrassed Cheesy

Hi Nuno.

Is Lanzarote the airport that took over from Tenerife after the Pan Am/KLM 747 accident? Just curious, I'm sure I read somewhere that it either moved to another island or lower down on the same island. Been a while since I heard the information, so I may have it wrong. Huh

Well Tenerife now has a South Airport (TFS) so maybe that was to replace TFN?

Ah. You are right captjames! After looking it up on Wikipedia, this is what it says:
Quote:
In 1978 a second airport was inaugurated on the island: the new Tenerife South Airport (TFS). This airport now serves the majority of international tourist flights. Los Rodeos, renamed to Tenerife North Airport (TFN), was then used only for domestic and inter-island flights, but in 2002 a new terminal was opened and it carries international traffic once again, including budget airlines. The Spanish authorities installed a ground radar at Tenerife North following the accident.

Back in the early 80's, I met a man who was a survivor from that accident. His story was very interesting as to how he got out of the Pan Am 747 and ran for his life, with nothing more than some minor burns a badly broken ankle that happened after jumping out landed on the ground.

HUH? What got lost? Or do you mean you missed something? I'm just asking, because the only minor thing I noticed, on the G-GPFI OzJet, because I have flown it the most, so far, is some paint on the rear section of the engines (see attached image). Other than that small bit it looks totally awesome. I'm loving it. I've already put in some 4 or 5 hours in the OzJet liveries so far!

He probably meant that if you were painting the shorter engines on a -200, it would fit perfectly.
But if you applied the same paint on a -200ADV with the longer engines, the paint would appear not to fit completely as Mark's inquery was about (Reply #29).

Don't think he meant any offence by it.

BTW, you do awesome work. I look forward to anything you paint! I've down loaded several of your re-paints.
Outstanding!

I pretty sure that captjames is referring to whoever painted the real world 737-200ADV in the picture in your reply Marcelo, and not to you personally. It really does look like the real life painting of that 737 is incomplete or someone forgot to do the engines.

See!

I must admit Marcelo, I thought, at first, that I may have put your livery on the wrong model. But not after what you say and showed us. Wink

Mark.
