Here is the passenger seat view from the aircraft.cfg file:
[CameraDefinition.006]
Title = "Passenger Seat"
Guid = {FDADCBDB-0D5A-41B9-BBC1-5BF18E74A443}
Origin = Virtual Cockpit
MomentumEffect = YES
SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel
SnapPbhReturn = False
PanPbhAdjust = Swivel
PanPbhReturn = False
Track = None
ShowAxis = YES
AllowZoom = TRUE
InitialZoom = .3
SmoothZoomTime = 2.0
ZoomPanScalar = 1.0
ShowWeather = Yes
XyzAdjust = TRUE
ShowLensFlare=FALSE
Category = Cockpit
PitchPanRate=30
HeadingPanRate=75
PanAcceleratorTime=0
InitialXyz=0.83, -0.05, -18.25
InitialPbh=-1,0,0
The
InitialXyz=X,X,X is the location of the view in feet from the
eypoint. The eyepoint is the the pilots view in the VC. So that means that the passenger view above, is 0.83 feet to right, -0.05 below and -18.25 feet behind the pilots view.
Next we have the
InitialPbh= which is the Pitch, Bank and Heading of the view: -1
o (down 1
o), the view is not tilting, and it is looking directly ahead.
Play with them to get them in a position near the window and you will probably only need to chang the heading so you are looking out the window.
To create a new CameraDefinition, you will need to get a new GUID (
Guid = {FDADCBDB-0D5A-41B9-BBC1-5BF18E74A443}) to add to it. You can't use the same one more than once. So you can just copy the one above, change the CameraDefinition.
XXX, add the new GUID, and play with the Xyz and Pbh numbers to have another passenger view.
I get my new GUID's generated here:
