Glad to read that Nathans is rollin'.  Smiley

Here's a small report of the annual Mark-OZ 707 flight from Melbourne to Perth, in the livery Nathan has done.

We start at Melbourne, with all those fancy modern planes parked around us.
We don't care, we obviously are flying the most beautiful one out there and the passengers will get Fosters being served right after boarding, so it is the funniest flight too!

The passengers may enjoy a ride in the fleet's flagship now, which derives from the fact that it's the only ship so far.  Grin

Having the 707 close to MTOW, every runway becomes a short runway for takeoff, so even the longer Melbourne ones don't offer plenty of room then.
But, as you may guess, the Captain is very confident about the plane, the takeoff and the repaint.  Tongue

The takeoff worked and we can now enjoy what's coming out of the engines.
See, those Foster painted pods actually work!
(Don't forget the seatbelts going to 'off' now since the Fosters already has built up some pressure)

The cruise FL took some time to be reached, but then we could enjoy the trip westwards, towards Perth and some longer water passage in between.

Here's our descent picture, the engines are still looking and working great and the Flight Engineer is still happy.

The approach towards Perth was an easy one. No bad weather on the scope, ILS working, not much traffic. Our now drunk crew has an easy job!

They even found the right exit and since they still have their sunglasses on the optics are great!
(They would always wear them, even in the darkness)

Once again, all the fancy sissy bird drivers have already parked their equipment, but we may find a free spot to place ours then.

We have to train the parking part a bit, which isn't easy with that sort of fuel in our blood.  Shocked

Thanks for flying with us and our beautiful 707.  Smiley

Thanks for the commentary on the flight. Whenever I fly that livery, I feel like I'm flying a can of Fosters! But it's a really nice personalized livery that Nathan did for me.

They're both aluminum! You never know, your foster's can could have been a 707 once  Grin  Cry

Shoot. I didn't go on the forums yesterday, and look what I missed! Happy belated birthday, Mark!

I wonder what the personal airlines for other CS forum members would look like... Considering my piloting skills, there would probably be large "Warning: You fly Boeing247 Airlines at your own risk!"  Cheesy

Tanya. It's never too late. Besides. You were away on holidays at the time. Smiley

I would also like to thank you all again. In the end I just had a quiet family day with my wife, our 3 grown up children.

The interesting part is that it lasted a long time because of all the different time zones around the world that members live in. It lasted almost two days! What a party that would be in Real Life! Grin

One year you should charter a jet and see how long you can stay on the same day.  Grin
