Lock-on, wait, wheres the ammo...

As some of you already know, my old FSX laptop was fried. The new custom one was infected. And now I got it fixed. (Hard drive was wiped out) I re-downloaded the Weapons program, and it shows up as 0000 ammo. Should I just move a file, or re-install? Thx.

If you just installed the Weapon for FSX, then added it to the aircraft and get the ammo displaying 0000, then the CSWeapon.xml is corrupt. This could mean that the unit.dat is corrupt, which will flow on to the CSWeapon.xml being corrupt. Try a reinstall first, if that doesn't fix it, then do this:

Check-in to Your Profile > Select product > Extended Download Service > Get New Links and download the installer again and install from the new one.

Thanks. Could this be a problem with my PC? because the same kind of thing happens with a company who makes a really good 747-400. (another company). The XML is corrupt with that plane too. I think I read that tho happens when you buy older W-ilco Pub products. (I got the 737 2 days before Cs announced the CS 737 project)

It could be that the loader doesn't have the "privilege level" to make the changes it needs to. Try these:

1) Right click on the Weapon for FSX Loader shortcut > Properties > Compatibility Tab > Privilege level and checkmark (place a tick) in the box beside "Run this program as an administrator" then click OK.
2) Right click on the fsx.exe > Properties > Compatibility Tab > Privilege level and checkmark the box beside "Run this program as an administrator" then click OK..

Hopefully this will allow everything to work as it should.
