Flight Routes

Hey guys.

I have a good idea. For the people who want to get into their flight journey fast and/or someone is unexperienced or simply too lazy, I think we should have the option of allowing your plane to follow your pink flight planner route just like default FSX aircraft but also have the alternative option of using the FMC. I have taught many people how to use the FMC, because it's always tricky at the beginning for new players and I have noticed that about 70% of FSX customers don't know how to use an FMC even with addon FMC experience. I just think it's a nice option to have both LOC and FMC in the cockpit. What do you think?

Personally, I believe there will be an enermous increase in CaptainSim 777 customers, because as you witness from the research, there is a lot of demand for the easier option. Let's give both options available! Smiley

The Captain Sim 757 and 767 already have the capability to load a route created with the FS Flight Planner (you load it with the CDU). I would imagine that this will flow on to the 777 as well.

So the 777 will automatically load the route on the FMC/CDU?

That's quite good then, but how how would you import the routes onto it. Is the option being made like the Sim 767?

Not automatically. You load it via the CDU.

This is how it is done in the 767 (and 757):

Hope this helps with explaining how we might be able to import an FS Flight Plan int the 777 FMC. Wink

Yep, that's what I meant. Glad that it might be an option. I don't mind which option is available, I can work with anything, but it's a little tricky for new players.

My little brother is 15 and I have tried so many times teaching him the FMC, but no success Tongue Happy to hear this.

Cheers
